The Rehabilitation Unit houses the latest equipment and services allowing patients to undertake their programs in a safe, secure and private environment.
A fully equipped gymnasium and hydrotherapy pool are available on-site for strength, conditioning and retraining programs.
The unit also has a range of assessment and counselling rooms where patients can meet with doctors and therapists in quiet, private surroundings.
Hunter Valley Private Hospital's Rehabilitation Unit has an independent living suite which is designed to provide patients with the support and confidence required to make a successful transition from the hospital back into home. The suite includes a kitchenette where meals can be prepared and cooking assessments are carried out. The facility is an important phase in our holistic approach to rehabilitation. This facility is offered to those patients and carers who may be unsure of their ability to safely manage all care needs after discharge.
